The Group started the Automotive business in the early 1940s with several brands, some of which no longer exist, including Desoto, Packard, Fargo, Monteverdi, Wolseley and MG. In 1948, the Automotive Group was the first to introduce Chrysler vehicles in the Kuwaiti market and in 1972, history repeated itself when the company introduced Mitsubishi to the Kuwaiti market as well as the Middle East.Mitsubishi to the Kuwaiti market as well as the Middle East.

2006 saw additional expansion for the Group with the creation of a joint venture with Behbehani Motors. Known as Al Mulla & Behbehani Motor Company, the entity handled the distribution of all Chrysler International brands: Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep in Kuwait. By 2010, the company added value to its brand with the acquisition of exclusive distribution rights for Fiat and Alfa Romeo automobiles. In 2014, Al Mulla Group welcomed a new brand to the family when it became the sole distributor of Honda Motor Company’s luxury brand, ACURA.

This spirited journey of expansion culminated in 2018 with Al Mulla Group being chosen by Daimler AG as the sole authorized distributor of Mercedes-Benz passenger cars and commercial vehicles in Kuwait.

Today, with a 2,500+ strong workforce, the Automotive Group enjoys a presence in Kuwait, Iraq, Egypt and the UAE, operating numerous divisions and facilities; including new and used car showrooms, spare parts outlets, and service centers.


Al Mulla Automobiles Co. - Mercedes-Benz

A pioneer in the luxury automotive industry, Mercedes-Benz is one of the most reputed and celebrated marques in the world. The brand’s slogan “The best or nothing” aptly describes its ethos and DNA. In 2018, Al Mulla Automobiles Co. was chosen by Daimler AG as the new distributor for Mercedes-Benz in Kuwait. An alliance that was created with the vision of always keeping customer first, it is a perfect pairing based on common core values and the drive to offer the best customer experience.

January 2019 saw the inauguration of the first Mercedes-Benz passenger car showroom, followed by the opening of the Commercial Vehicles showroom in March 2019. In May 2019, the first Mercedes-Benz Pre-Owned Certified car showroom was launched in Kuwait.

The partnership has also witnessed the creation of several service centers and other facilities in different locations across Kuwait to offer value and convenience to customers.


Al Mulla Auto - Acura

In 2013, Al Mulla Group added another feather to its cap when it was selected by Honda Motors as the first exclusive distributor of their luxury vehicle brand, Acura Motors, in Kuwait.

The partnership was forged after Al Mulla Group proved itself by demonstrating how the Group’s long-term vision and strategy that has been instrumental to the Group’s success in the automotive market, was clearly aligned with that of Acura and its vision for the future.

Al Mulla Group has established a world-class 3S (sales, service, spare parts) facility and showroom for Acura in Kuwait, which is one of the largest of its kind in the world.


Al Mulla & Behbehani Motor Company - Alfa Romeo, Abarth, Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat, Jeep®, Ram, and Mopar®

Founded in April 2006 as a joint venture between Al Mulla Group and Behbehani Motor Company, Al Mulla & Behbehani Motor Company W.L.L is the authorized distributor for Alfa Romeo, Abarth, Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat, Jeep®, Ram, and Mopar® brands. This partnership is doubly special since both companies not only brought decades of automotive experience to the table, but it also led to a unification of sales and service operations. This created an extraordinary opportunity to increase market share and value add to the customer’s experience at every step of their journey.

Al Mulla Motor - Mitsubishi

Introduced in Kuwait in 1972, Mitsubishi Motors is today one of the biggest success stories of the region. Not only does the brand boast of the second-highest market share in Kuwait, but the Group also has the highest market share for Mitsubishi in the MENA region overall.

The modern flagship showroom of Mitsubishi is located in Al Rai, while additional new and used car showrooms are located in prime locations across Kuwait. The complete range of Mitsubishi vehicles, from small to medium sedans, SUVs, SPVs as well as commercial vehicles such as pickups and mini buses are available through the showrooms.

Al Mulla Group also offers specialized teams of professional sales staff to cater to different customer requirements. The retail team serves walk-in customers in the retail showrooms, while the fleet team is dedicated to offering fleet solutions for corporate and business entities. In addition, a wholesale team focuses solely on government and quasi-government projects and tenders.
